# Voting Guide
Follow this step by step guide to help you access the voting feature. Make sure you own a sufficient amount of veNUSA
## How to Vote
1. Visit the [voting page](https://app.nusa.finance/voting.html?id=1) at Nusa Finance Apps
2. Connect your wallet in the upper right corner
3. Choose a proposal that you would like to vote on
4. Before casting your vote, you can visit the discussion forum by clicking the “Discuss on Telegram” button. It will direct you to a dedicated forum for the proposal discussion.
5. After reading the proposal, choose between the options that you would like to vote on. There will be a “✓” symbol on the options you chose. Click “Vote” to finalize your vote.
6. You will then be directed to sign the smart contract. Make sure your veNUSA is located in the connected wallet.
7. A notification will pop up on the completion of your vote
7. You can view the voting history on this section
7. To view the ongoing voting results, you can check on the right section of the page
## Submit a Proposal
1. Visit the [voting page](https://www.google.com/url?q=https://app.nusa.finance/voting\&sa=D\&source=editors\&ust=1687521858176331\&usg=AOvVaw2znZVvOh01pF2z4_ND1TnI) at Nusa Finance Apps
2. Click “Add Proposal” to submit a new proposal
3. Complete the title and description of the proposal you want to submit. Please ensure the details of description including the reasoning, mechanism, and other details so that participants can have a thorough understanding.
4. Create the option that voters can choose from. It could be an agree/disagree options or even a multiple options of mechanism to choose.
5. Decide how long the voting duration will last
6. At the “Snapshot Date”, you will have 2 options:
1. “At the start of voting” means that the snapshot date of voters’ veNUSA will be taken on the exact date of the proposal was made
2. “At the end of voting” means that the snapshot date of voters’ veNUSA will be taken on the last day of the voting period
7. Before uploading, you can preview the completion of your proposal by clicking “Preview”
8. Click “Create Proposal” to finalize the proposal
9. You will then be directed to sign the smart contract. Make sure you have at least 500 veNUSA in the connected wallet to prevent failure on submission.
9. A dedicated discussion forum regarding your proposal will be created on Telegram for further discussion within the community.
